These 1 3/8-inch nails are perfectly sized for secure assembly, designed for manual driving with a hammer. Each nail's head aids in securing top and bottom bars of frames to sidebars. Nail quantity needed depends on assembly method and frame count, ranging from 4 to 8 per frame. Our frame nails feature a smooth shank and vinyl coating, enhancing usability and reducing splitting. While not corrosion-resistant, this isn't necessary as they'll be inside the hive. The coating facilitates easier wood penetration and superior grip compared to standard nails, making them ideal for bee frames. We strongly recommend using these when assembling bee frames. Even with quality nails, frames can disassemble easily, so we suggest using glue for added stability. With glue, only four nails are needed to assemble a single frame.
