Murray does not get the respect that he deserves, He was one of the best outfielders of the time and led the league in Home Runs and Stolen Bases during his career. There was a myth that Murray was struck by lightning after catching the final out of a 21 inning game and hung onto the ball.
The Polar Bear Backs are much rarer and sought after than Sweet Caporal and Piedmont backs.
The card presents a lot better than the grade it received. It does have paper loss but the Colors are very deep and there are no creases on the card.
