Pictured with nickel for size reference. No seen marks or text. The shaft cleans up with silver polish, and the top is supposedly gold filled (I can’t verify this). Piece is said to have originated in America’s east coast between mid and late 1800s, by a craft jeweler who didn’t produce wares for selling to the public, but for a men’s society/country club type thing, wherein its members were given symbolic adornments according to their rank & tenure. That’s as specific as I can get. Very cool cane topper/curio. Sold as pictured.
