Hello!
This is a commemorative Ezra Brooks decanter made from cobalt blue glass, issued in 1969 to celebrate the 50th anniversary (1919–1969) of the American Legion, a veterans’ organization. These bottles were part of a popular mid-20th century trend where whiskey distilleries released ornate collectible decanters, often in collaboration with companies like Heritage China, etc.
The front panel illustration has a little bit of wear and tear from surface scuffs over time but has held a beautifully well and the gold foils are very crisp. The bottom of the bottle says JW DANT 1969.
