Two beautiful pairs of cuff links dating from around 1890-1900. They are each brass with a layer of gold on the front face. The oval cufflinks have an acanthus design typical of the period. The oblong pair are marked JA&S in a diamond shape, almost certainly John Ashford of Birmingham who was renowned for producing high quality items of jewellery. Since I retired I no longer wear formal shirts with cuff links hence these are for sale.
