Antique Lithophane 18 Piece Teaset - Japan - Paper or Eggshell Porcelain

Antique handpainted Japanese teaset, teapot, strainer, creamer, sugar, plates and cups. Each teacup has a lithophane of a Japanese geisha. Four teacups, saucers and dessert plates, creamer, sugar & lid, tea strainer and teapot & lid. One teacup has an old repaired crack, pictured, and some of the plates show some missing glaze, pictured. The dot of red glaze is off the teapot. Teapot has a bamboo handle. Red characters on base are symbols for Japan. In really good condition for age and cups being very thin porcelain. Because of the symbols rather than the word Japan, these were either pre-1921 or not exported to the U.S.
