This rare antique K.S. Company Tree of Life platter is a stunning piece of silver plate with art deco rim and 4 ornately footed bases. It is 15 7/8" long x 11 1/2" x 2 4" tall and weighs 2 3/4 lbs unpacked.
The K.S. Company originated in Kansas in the 1800's with their electroplating/ silver-plating process. The tray is believed to have been made in the 1920's and is marked and numbered on the back.
Although there are other Tree of Life platters on the market, this antique Tree of Life Platter by the K.S. Company, is one of the first made of a heavier metal alloy, and electroplated in a beautiful ornate design. It is in very good condition. Please inspect pictures for your buying approval.
