This A1534 MacBook originally didn't have a working keyboard, so I had to replace it with one from a differently-colored MacBook. However, besides that, everything works as intended.
The WASD keys have some wear and there's some slight scratches and wearing around the laptop, but nothing scary or disruptive to it's operation.
The stock EFI was replaced with rEFInd, as I was using this for Linux (easily replacable if you install another version of MacOS), and it's currently on High Sierra. I think the farthest it'll go is Big Sur (without OpenCore being used), so it's old. Great for tinkering or for light internet/office use!
