Diaspore! The Mind Stone! This incredible ultra rare gemstone is from the recent discovery in Pakistan. Prior to this find the best quality Diaspore was found exclusively in Turkey and was sold under the trade name Zultanite. Approximately 90% of the rough material is lost during the cutting process. Most other gems 10 to 20% of the rough material is lost. So it takes a 10 ct rough stone to cut a 1 ct gemstone. This makes the value go up significantly each carat weight. This gem is way nicer in person especially in low light conditions. This gem has a beautiful color change from pink to purple. In my humble opinion this is some of the most beautiful material in the world. This is a large gemstone for the species.
Metaphysically speaking this gem is the best activator of the third eye chakra. It enhances ones intuition and psychic abilities. An ideal gem for meditation and lucid dreaming.
