My husband was a senior in high school working at the now defunct Sherman Oaks Galleria. This is where Fast Times at Ridgemont High was filmed (food court and movie theater scenes).
DeForrest and his wife came in to purchase a wedding present. My husband nearly lost his cool. He said Mr. Kelley was such a gentleman. My husband is a huge Star Trek fan. His wife came back and gave my husband this beautiful photo. It’s one of his prized possessions. It has been kept in storage and is in great condition.
