Vintage Double Egg Cup Heavy Floral Pattern Blue Pinks Greens Gold Rim Not Royal Winton
This egg cup was my grandmother's. It is from our large collection of vintage china and ceramic.
On the inside of the less wide end is a tiny letter A with a red dot.
I have Goggle Lens this piece. It is similar to the Royal Winton Cottage Chintz pattern but it is not the same.
Our piece is quite old and very distinct. The pattern is fantastic and the background is lightly scattered speckles in a black to slate blue throughout the glaze. Then it morphs into the colors of the flowers and leaves. You have to look carefully but it is very lovely. Really a unique floral pattern.
It is 3 3/4" tall. The wider end is 2 1/2". The other end is 2" wide.
The cup is in great condition, however the inside of the smaller end shows a bit of discoloration.
It really is a beautiful piece.
