Rare Set of 6 English Pub Plates Crown Ducal Florentine By Bob Dean. Hard to find Cocktail plates Made in 1932. Beautiful, raised embossed pattern on the scalloped cream colored rim of the decorative salad or dessert or lunch plates. Bar room scenes are at the center of the plate - detailed graphic cartoons and with still vibrant colors. Set includes "The Singing Waiter", "Harmony", "A Short Sport", "Hoss an' Hoss", "What's Yourn, Gents?", and "One On The House". Back of plates are hallmarked and are stamped "C M & M 1932".
Plates are in very good shape for the age - No cracks or chips. Some small amount of wear on the graphics. (The worst is the Singing Waiter, last photo). Some age crazing.
