Hall China Co., Hotpoint Refrigerator Jug, Vintage, Collectible, Made in U.S.A

Offered is a retro porcelain refrigerator jug made by the Hall China Co. (U.S.A.) for Hotpoint Refrigerators. This one includes the original cap with cork! IMO the color is like dusty, cerulean blue, but I’ve seen it described as cadet or cornflower blue. I believe that it dates to the 1930s/1940s when refrigerators were becoming more of a household necessity. It is collectible for sure. It features a squarish art deco design with an incorporated handle and raised Hotpoint logos are displayed on the front and back. It was originally provided as a promotional item as one of Hotpoint’s refrigerator ware items, or bought separately.

There are two very small spots of glaze loss on the cap and ½-inch scratch above the base as seen in the photos. Otherwise, the pitcher is in lovely condition for its age with no cracks, repairs, stains, or crazing observed. Bottom wear is minimal.

It is 6 ¾ inch high to top of spout cap, 7 ½ inches handle to tip of cap, and 3 ½ inches wide (all approx.).
