I bought this gorgeous piece last year, love it dearly, but alas, hard times have come around and I need to sell.
The piece is constructed of clay and metal and is titled “Spirit Shadow.” It is approximately 13.5 tall at its tallest point and 10” across at its widest point. It protrudes from the wall (it’s meant to be hung) about 3-4”.
About the Art
This piece titled "Spirit Shadow" was made by K.D. Fullerton. This is the artist's statement:
"Clay speaks to me. It has since I first touched it in a beginning ceramics class at University of New Mexico. Many classes, workshops, shows and galleries later it is still my friend, waiting for me to indulge my imagination.
I bring to the clay my love for my New Mexico homeland, my admiration for it’s rock art, and ancient potters. My addition of fired-in metal pieces has added a dimension to my work and allowed me to take liberties (flights of fancy) with the clay I was unable to before.
