The JBL CONTROL 25-1L-WH is a pair of speakers designed for surface mounting and built with a compact footprint. Inside each enclosure, a 5.25 inch woven fiberglass woofer partners with a 0.75 inch fluid-cooled PEI tweeter to keep music and speech clear across a frequency range that starts at 85 Hz and reaches up to 17 kHz. With power handling of 200 watts peak at 8 ohms and a maximum output of 116 dB, the speakers are comfortable providing soft background ambience or stepping forward for foreground playback and paging.
A weather resistant construction lets the Control 25-1L perform reliably in outdoor seating areas, pool decks, theme park attractions, and other open venues. Indoors, the white finish blends naturally into restaurants, retail spaces, conference rooms, and places of worship. Thanks to a 100 by 100 degree coverage pattern, a modest number of speakers can evenly blanket wide areas, which helps keep system costs and installation time under control.
