I picked this up at an estate sale. This guy had it mounted inside an open wood box connected to 30 capacitors and then to 8 1 1/2 inch copper tubes. At the end of the copper tubes was a wire with an alligator clip attached. The purpose is unknown by me but I plugged the power cord and I could loudly hear and see the electricity flowing through the copper tubes. I am assuming the transformer is good and working.
There is a couple of holes in the casing just above one of the insulators. See last picture.
I left the power cord attached.
You will only be receiving the black transformer shown in the photos.
The date of the item is unknown by me, other listings suggest 1930's.
