ATTEN: COLLECTORS! This piece depicting the "farmer & his wife" was released with ONLY the trial product line in 1983 and then never reproduced. They are SUCH a delightful "couple" and I have no idea why it was discontinued immediately. Ceramic. It also features much larger dimensions than the planters that came later. Face is 12" high. Planter is 9" across and 5.5" deep. The backside of the planter bucket is missing a tiny chip (see pictures) I have always displayed it with dried flowers.
