The long-lost children’s book written by Tolkien nearly fifty years prior to this book’s publication. Includes scans of the original handwriting and illustrations by Tolkien as well as text transcription for clarity. Price clipped jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with mild rubbing to faces and slight shelf wear around the edges. Boards very faintly bowed and with slightly bumped corners. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
