NETGEAR AX1800 Wireless Dual-Band 2.5 Gigabit Insight Managed Access Point

The NETGEAR WAX610PA-100NAS is an access point that supports Wi-Fi 6 and offers cloud-based management through Netgear Insight. It is designed for workplaces where many people and devices share the same network. By using both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands, it delivers up to 1800 Mb/s of wireless throughput, keeping laptops, phones, tablets, cameras and IoT equipment online without slowing each other down.

A 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port connects the access point to your switch or router, giving the wireless traffic a wired backbone that keeps pace with the speed of Wi-Fi 6. You can power the unit through the included AC adapter or with Power over Ethernet, whichever fits your cabling plan.

Integration with the Netgear Insight cloud platform lets an administrator monitor usage, push firmware or change settings from anywhere through a phone app or web portal. You can broadcast up to eight separate networks, each with its own SSID and VLAN tag, so guest, staff and management traffic stay isolated. Support for WPA3, WPA2 and the original WPA keeps both new and older devices secure.

Wall and ceiling mounting hardware comes in the box, so you can place the access point where the signal covers an open office, classroom, restaurant or lobby. The unit handles up to 250 connected devices with 30 users active at the same time, and it can form a mesh with other compatible Netgear access points to eliminate dead zones as your coverage needs grow.
