RARE Deadstock Vintage Olympics Atlanta 1996 Champion Snapback Hat - Black - Super soft material
The 1996 Summer Olympics were held in Atlanta, Georgia, and marked the centennial celebration of the modern Olympic Games. The event featured 10,318 athletes from 197 countries, competing in 271 events across 26 sports. The games were notable for a number of reasons, including the debut of new events such as beach volleyball, mountain biking, and women's soccer, as well as the participation of several high-profile athletes, including Michael Johnson, who set a new world record in the men's 200m race, and gymnast Kerri Strug, who famously competed on a broken ankle to help the US women's gymnastics team win gold. The games were also marred by tragedy, as a bomb exploded at Centennial Olympic Park on July 27, killing two people and injuring over 100 others.
