Gorgeous set of 4 plates, handcrafted in the town of Tonala, Mexico. These pieces are signed Xochiquetzal Mexico and bear the initials TD, denoting Teresa Duran and her Ceramica Xochiquetzal pottery studio.
These plates are in beautiful condition. One plate has a small chip on the underside of the rim, see photo with my finger,m pointing to the chip, and one plate has a small imperfection from production on the face of the plate. There is some very light utensil wear, but overall these have been very gently used and are just a stunning set.
