Set of 4 Duchess Sherwood Tea Cups and Saucers- Bone China - Made in England
This is a great set of 4 Duchess Sherwood 301 pattern fine English bone china footed tea cup and saucer sets manufactured in England by Duchess as part of the Sherwood collection. These sets feature a hunter green filigree scroll-like pattern complemented by aqua colored dot accents, scalloped edges, gold gilding along the outside rims saucer and cup as well as along the cup's base.
The cup is 3" high and diameter of cup is 3 1/4" wide (it sits on a base diameter of 1 3/4"). The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8". They are in very good overall vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. There is a very small flea bite on the base of one of the tea cups and some loss of gold gilt throughout. Please see pictures for overall condition.
A beautiful and stately set of cups and saucers that will make a great addition to any fine china collection.
