Shoeless Joe Jackson signed baseball (authentic) vintage. No paperwork included. This ball was brought into our store, and we researched it and put it through many forensic tests to make sure the ink looks correct as well as the leather. And it passes as a true one of one..signed by the legend known as Shoeless Joe Jackson. A player who is most known for his World Series scandal as well as his natural hitting abilities that even Babe Ruth once stated that Joe was the best he's ever watched play the game. The ball exhibits no brightners in the leather and is possibly only the 2nd ever to surface. Joe struggled to write as his illiteracy was known throughout baseball. Only a handful of signed items have been authenticated with Joe's true signature, but we feel this is definitely the real deal as the ink is faded, and the penmanship is spot on. Signed pieces of Joe's often reach $250,000 or more.
