This is the First Edition, First Printing (US) of Gabriel Garcia Marquez' "Story of a Ship-Wrecked Sailor" with all required 1st/1st points present: Correct price on DJ, correct date code to rear flap of DJ, and stated First Edition on copyright page. It is boldly signed directly to the title page by the author.
Overall, I would grade this book at Fine- or Very Good +. I feel I should point out that as a third-generation book collector, I'm very conservative in my grading; only books that are literally perfect in every detail and apparently never read get my grade of Fine. This particular edition has some slight rubbing/shelfwear to the extremities of the DJ, as well as the lightest of bumping to a couple of the corners (please see photos). That said, the textblock is sufficiently tight that I don't believe that this book has been read. The untrimmed page edges stand proud, uncrushed. More photos available on request.
