Phase 1 digital only, this will not work with areas that have gone to PHASE 2 . YOU WILL NEED TO PROGRAM THIS RADIO FOR YOUR AREA, IT CAN BE DONE BY HAND BUT FOR SOME MAY BE WAY EASIER TO USE A DATA CABLE + PROGRAM.
(I Learned how to do it myself and it wasn't too bad but needed to watch videos/read manuals online)
Up for offer is a Uniden BCD396T model scanner. Comes with original belt clip, OEM uniden branded ac adapter. Tested and working. I setup and programmed it for local/fire/police in my area and it was picking up stuff as shown in the test video. Nice BLUE led backlit display.Has some wear on this unit being that its used and 15+ years old. Has a worn off name on the battery compartment still can barely sort of see it.
Has 3.01 firmware installed already.
Keep in mind once you purchase this radio you will need to set it up for your area my frequencies/setup will not suffice for your area.
