This guy is a beautiful 1950s German Steiff Leo Lion, measuring 10 inches high by about 13" long.
The lion is made of mohair and features a chest tag, but does not have a button. In good used shape. This piece was from the estate of a friend of mine. He was stored in her house and she was cat friendly. I have professionally cleaned him, but if you are hugely allergic to cats, this might not be the guy for you. He is in great shape, has lovely airbrushing on his face and paws. He has his chest tag but no ear button or tag.
