There are a total 20 pieces of paper cuts in this collection and each depicts people's daily life of the northern Shaanxi Provence. These should be taken outside of the album and put into frames for display. The outer box of this album is 12 X 10 inches and that should be the minimum size of the frames - if you decided to frame them. The album comes with a leatherette cutter box. The description under the cover page described the tradition of Chinese paper cuts and the author, who has been exhibiting her work all over the country and won multiple awards. The subject of her work is often the daily life of the region as this album shows. This collection came out of a local fine home, the owners have been doing business with China for the past 50 years. Unsure how old these are, but from the album use, it had to be at least 20 years old.
